Can I use household glass cleaner to clean my iPhone 5's main screen?

Will it be effective and is it safe to use on my iPhone meaning will it or will it not cause damage?

Yes you can, but just remember not to spray directly onto the iphone as it is still water based and can cause damage that way, but no chemicals in it will harm the phone

Yes, you can used Windex to clean your iPhone screen but make sure to used the one that doesn't contain ammonia I used hand sanitizer on mine to kill bacteria because your phone is one of the things that catches bacteria you put it on your desk, bed, sofa ect…

I use spectacle cleaning spray directly onto the screen, it won't damage it. (also spray it directly onto my iPad screen)

  • I broke my iphone 5 glass, can I just buy new glass cover for it? My girl recently dropped her iPhone 5 and the glass is cracked on the front. The touchscreen still works great, but the cracked glass is obviously very annoying and will undoubtedly get worse with time. Can I just replace it with a generic outer glass or do I also have to replace the digitizer touch function when I replace the glass on it?
