Can I use my AT&T Iphone4 for US Cellular?
I bought the Iphone4 two years ago under AT&T. I stopped going with AT&T and switched to US Cellular so I stopped using my iphone and got a different phone (us cellular didn't have the iphone then.) well now us cellular DOES have iphones and I'm wondering if I will be able to take my iphone4 and activate it under us cellular now?
Yes, it is possible to switch phone companies and still be able to use your current phone. Just tell them that when you sign up to your new cell phone company.
The phone has to be unlocked. If you finished your contract with AT&T, they may be willing to unlock the phone for you. If not, you'll have to hack the unlock.
- Why can't I use cellular data on my iPhone 5c? I've had my phone for a while now and since yesterday I have not been able to use my mobile internet, I tried to update to 7.0.4 and I have not been able to connect still.
- When you have Wi-Fi and cellular data on at the same time, does it use cellular data? If I keep my cellular data on and also have my iPhone connected to Wi-Fi, will it use any of my cellular data?
- If I use airplane mode with Wi-Fi, will it use my cellular data (iPhone 5c)? I have a iPhone 5c on AT&T and I recently got a text saying i've used 90% of my cellular data and if I go over they will charge me. If I use airplane mode with Wi-Fi and use apps such as snapchat, Kik, Twitter… Will it be using my data up? If not, how do I avoid using data but still be able to use these apps on my phone.
- If I turn off cellular data on my iPhone, can I still use apps like SnapChat and Instagram? I have to share a 2GB plan with two other people, and I think that if I just blocked off cellular data it would prevent me from going over (obviously). But just personally, can I still use social applications and whatnot since the Wi-Fi will still work?
