Can I use my cousins old iPhone?

My cousin recently got an iPhone 6plus on Verizon as an upgrade from her 5s. I have a 5c on T-Mobile and was wondering if I could put my SIM card into her old phone. Will it work even though we're on different cell services?

Yes it would work, the iPhone 5 and 5s were not specifically locked to a carrier, therefore You can insert a SIM card from T-Mobile into a phone originally sold for any of the three carriers and it will work on any iPhone 5 or 5s without any further registration. Just reboot the phone to register it.

  • Songs to sing at my cousins wedding? So, I'm 14 and I have been asked to sing at my cousins wedding and I said no unless I get an iPhone (jokingly) then I got an iPhone so my parents say I must sing, but I have no idea what song! My cousin is 27 and the person she is getting married to is 25 so I was thinking a song from around the late 1980's. Does anybody have any ideas of songs?
  • Old iPhone with old sim card? Mum just got a new iPhone, so gave her old one to my sister. My sister did not have an appropriate sized sim card, so they guy at the store cut it down. Mum's new sim card is working, but when we put my sisters in the old phone, it just keeps saying no service. What do we do? Can we use it or not?
  • My cousins called me a white girl? So my cousins and I were sitting on the couch. I'm on my phone and so are they and then they look over and say "OMG you're such a white girl. You own bethany Mota clothing and you have a hardcover case and a mint case. Asian girls have rubber cases". I just think it's annoying that they would call me a stereotypical white girl when I'm not. I didn't realize that being called a white girl was an insult.
  • Just got an iPhone 7, should I use my old earbuds with the dongle/lightning connector or use the ones that came in the box? I'm not sure which I should use first. Use the lightning connector with the earbuds I've been using or should I use the earbuds that come with it that just plug into that charging hole? Sorry I'm not so good at deciding.
