Can i use my verizon iphone 4 on a prepaid network?

Ok so i got my verizon iphone on chirstmas. I used it till last month when my dads account got shut off by verizon because his bill wasn't paid. So technically i have a bad esn iphone. I done research that i can use it on a prepaid network if i bought a phone from there and took the sim card out of it and put it in my iphone and it would work but the thing is i don't have a sim card slot on the side of the iphone like the at&t and sprint ones do. I also have my dads droid pro that was on the plan aswell so i'm guessing both of the phones have bad esn? I also researched that i would have to go to the apple store and buy an iphone from its outright price to use it on a prepaid network or such.am i better off doing that or just selling them both as a bad esn phones? If so how much would i be able to sell them for? The iphone has a cracked screen but i got new hosings front and back i was going to put in but i thought it would be a waste of my time if i couldnt use the phone. Also if i could get an actual website link that i can unlock my iphone and droid pro from that would be great

The bottom line is with Verizon once you don't pay your bill Verizon will issue bad ESN numbers on your cell phones. So with any bad ESN phones Verizon will not let you activate that cell phone or either prepaid or contract ever again. Even if you sold it the cell phones would be useless to the buyer since he or she can't activate that phone with a BAD ESN.

Also prepaid services like Verizon, A T&T do not let you activate a smart phone like the iphone. They both have only certain cell phones that can be activate as a prepaid cell phone. I know Virgin Mobile and Cricket Wireless starting having their own iphone on a prepaid service.
