Can I use scotch double sided tape to stick an iPhone battery after replacing?

So I ordered a new battery for my iPhone 5, yes I know it's old, but it does the job.

So anyways I'm going to be replacing my battery, just so you know I have lots of experience with iPhone and iPad repairs and know what I'm doing.

I was wondering if I could use regular scotch double sided tape for securing the batter as apposed to 'special' adhesive strips?

Maybe this will work 3M VHB tape it comes in various thicknesses and works extremely well in many conditions even hot ones

White Screen of Death on My IPhone 3GS After Replacing Screen? I recently replaced the cracked screen of my IPhone 3GS. After reassembling it, I got the White Screen of Death. I've tried holding the power button and the home button to try to reboot, but it does not work. The phone seems to still be working normally other than the screen. In fact, it is currently playing music. Does anyone have and suggestions on how to fix this?
Problems with Iphone 5s after replacing battery? So I tried replacing my battery for my iphone 5s and I notice after i completed it. My phone would not turn on its screen and it kept vibrating whenever I try to charge it. And the worse part of it i that its over heating. Can someone explain to me what I did wrong and why is it overheating because that it worrying me the most?
Is it okay if you use any tape? I got a new battery for my iphone 3gs and it did not come with a double sided tape does it matter what type of tape you put can i use a regular tape and bend it so it could be a double sided tape please help.
IPhone: battery stick or battery case? My iPhone 5c doesn't have the best battery life. I'm deciding between purchasing a battery stick or a battery case. Each has their benefits. The battery case both protects and charges the phone but adds bulk. The battery stick allows me to purchase a real case, but it would be easy to misplace or forget at home. Which should I get?
