Can i use the moto 360 just for the time and date?
I lost my watch recently and I'm looking for a new Digital watch. I like the look of the moto 360 a lot and for $150 USD its not a bad price it may go cheeper when the moto 2 comes out in a few days.
I want to know can it can be set up right out of the box if not will my old Huawei Ideos U8150-B be enough just to get it going? Will i need it for updates new faces anyway?
I'm an iPhone user now I may try the app that allows basic music controls and text notifications but this is not essential.
I take my watch off at night and place it by my bed so nightly charging is not a bother.
Also any recommendations of a simple clean digital watches would be welcomed Thanks 
Moto 360 is the best bang for buck under $150 but it works on Android only and will not work with Huawei Ideos if it doesn't have Android 4.3 at least. Most smartwatch will require Android 4 for it to pair and work properly. If you have iPhone, you can use Pebble Time or Pebble or Pebble Steel.
