Can I use the sim from a Sprint sim activation kit on my iPhone that's already locked to sprint?
So my sprint sim card recently got lost and I just reset my iPhone and as you iPhone users know you can't set up your iPhone till you have a sim, and sprint doesn't sell just Sims so I was wondering if I order a sprint sim activation kit for my iPhone 7 plus that's locked to sprint will it work as a regular sim?
Short answer: YES
You'll be able to activate it, but you'll still have to get Sprint to set up the SIM with the telephone number you used previously. I would contact them in person, because most carriers will replace a lost or stolen SIM card (even if they don't SELL them that way).
If you're willing to manage with the new number provided in the SIM activation kit, you can do that without problems, but it seems more logical to simply request a replacement SIM so that you can keep your original number.
