Can iPhone hardware defects affect performance of some apps?
I recently have had to get an iPhone 4 repaired. My LCD screen was not lighting up and not even a system restore could change that. I took it to a center and while they did manage to fix it, now I'm having trouble with some apps, namely Twitter and Facebook. Just those two go into like a small-screen glitch when I try to load them. My assistive touch doesn't work anymore either; it just sits in the center of the screen, unresponsive.
I understand this problem isn't very common, so if you know of anything I could do to get everything functional again, I could use the help.
This may be a reason.
- Would you vote for iphone 5s or iphone 5c? Both my wife thinks the same performance? So she wanted to buy iphone 5c, I do not know how to choose? What is your choice, just tell me. Thank you. I think I still prefer iphone 5s. Hee hee.
- Will updating my iPhone apps affect my phone speed as how updating the Operating System (OS) will? Currently I'm using the iPhone 5s on iOS 8.3 I know if I were to update my phone to the latest OS I may notice some slowdown on my phone's performance, since it may not have the "muscle" to handle certain functions. Many apps now are optimised for iOS 9 and/or the 6th generation phones. Will my 5s' speed performance slow down if I update my apps? Will the app's performance slow down?
- Will unlocking an iPhone 4S change its performance? Will unlocking a phone like jail breaking it? Because I pad a jail broken iPod and eventually it ran really slow, I don't want that happening with this phone.
- Will my bent iPhone affect performance? Some friends and I were screwing around and my iPhone 6 got bent. The screen didn't crack, but it is popping out slightly. I've since put my phone in a lifeproof case. If I keep it in the lifeproof, will the performance be fine, and will the bend get worse?
