Can iphones still text with no internet?
If i disable cellular data and lose Wi-Fi connection would i still be able to send text messages on the iphone?
As long as you have a signal to call someone, you can text. Text is not used on the internet. It's used with the phone line.
Text messages on any phone do not require internet access.
You will still be able to send text messages on the iPhone without using cellular data and Wi-Fi.
The only requirement to send a text message is the service from your cell phone provider.
- Why does my iPhone still charge for Internet even when I'm not using Internet? So, I recently got a pay monthly plan with my new iPhone 4s. When i'm out and about I'm usually updating my twitter and Facebook account. But, when I'm put my phone down, 3G still says I'm using it and charging me. - When I text other iPhones why is it sending as a text message? I have an iPhone 4 I was on AT&T and I just switched to straight talk. In my setting I have all the iMessage and everything turned on. Sometimes it will work whenever I text another iPhone but most of the time it won't. I have tried turning the phone off and back on. It's really irritating.
