That is a jailbreaking tool that allows different apps to be installed etc.
It does not remove the icloud lock information from Apple's servers - nothing can, other than the account owner logging in and unlinking that phone from their account!
And the icloud lock is not a problem, it's the best phone anti-theft system in existence.
- Iphone screen flickering/flashing around the screen edges? Hi, I was uploading songs to my iPhone, until iTunes crashed. I closed iTunes and then opened it again, and replugged my phone in.iTunes would pick up the phone so I turned the iPhone on and off. When the iPhone came back on the screen was flashing. Like a flickering, just around the edges of the screen. The middle of the screen is fine. any ideas?
- IPhone: FLAShiNG APPLE LOGO? Okay, so i attempted to reset my phone settings and everything on my iPhone 4s. And next thing you know it my iPhone turns off and since then, the apple logo has been flashing! How can this be? this has happened before like, last month or so but it started back up again. - Iphone 4s unlocking/flashing? I've heard that the Iphone 4s was a "global" phone, meaning it can be used on CDMA or GSM networks. So, would i beable to take an iphone 4s from AT&T or T-Mobile, unlock it, then have it put on cricket/sprint and vise versa? Cricket is a CDMA network, btw. I keep hearing mixed answers about this whole thing. If i unlock it, i would be using the GEVEY SIM( i can easily find info on the web about that) then i would take it to my carrier and have it flashed.
- IPhone 4 ios 6.1 update problem, stuck flashing on and off? This morning I tried to update my iphone 4 to ios 6 straight from the phone. It started loading the bar for a while, then it shut down. Now it keeps booting for about 5 seconds and shutting off, repeatedly. My home button is broken so I can't hold it down along with the sleep button. Have tried plugging it into my laptop, nothing. Help? I live in Aruba and there's no real apple store located on the island.
