No you need to whoever your carrier is they can unlock iPhone 4

MetroPCS won't unlock any phone which is from a different carrier, no carrier will as it's against their TOS. You need to get the phone from it's original carrier or get it unlocked from outside. If you need your iPhone 4 factory unlocked, mail me for references.
