Can mts detect that your Iphone 5 has been jailbroken, but nolonger is?
I have an Iphone 5, i had it jailbroken, but i updated it. Its at ios 7.0.2 fully updated. The volume buttons have stopped working, and its under warranty, so i'm wondering if they can detect that it had been jailbroken, when i bring it there to the store, apple is checking for tampering - water damage - dropping it, but i didn't do that. So can they know if it had been jailbroken?
Nope. When you upgraded software the jailbreak went away completely. You should be fine to make a claim.
- Restoring an iPhone 3gs that has been jailbroken? I have recently bought a Blackberry however my old phone (iPhone 3GS) had been jailbroken so it was stuck on ios 3.1.2 and now I need to upgrade the software. I opened up itunes and tried to upgrade but it failed so I clicked restore and that failed as well. Now I have no access to my phone and the screen is a usb telling me to connect to itunes. I really need some advice. Is it possible to get my phone working again!
- My iPhone 6s has no phone case and I've dropped it several times but there has never been any damage The screen hasn't cracked and it still works like new and the phone is as old as when the first iPhone 6s came out. But it's just funny because i Never have a case on it and it's fallen, maybe only 3 feet at most onto wood floors and nothing has happened yet. Anyone else relate?
- IPhone 5 on MTS, Need unlocking, Any I'm going to be buying an Iphone 5 on the network MTS. I need it to be unlocked. As i've giving it away as a present. How can i go about this, I will be buying the phone without his sim card so how can i unlock it for free? I live in stockport/manchester, If i can't do it for free is their anyway i can pay for this very cheap? Any idea's guys?
- IPhone 5 can't detect Wi-Fi, but iPhone 4 can? My iPhone 5 can't detect Wi-Fi even though the box is next door, I live in a flat. I have to sit in a particular position to actually get it. It happened on holiday as well, the router was like 10 meters away from me outside, while I was inside and it simply could not find the Wi-Fi while my iPhone 4 could. I already removed the network settings, but no change at all. Tips?
