Can my iPhone 6 switch between LTE and 3G on demand?
I use my iPhone 6 for pandora and beats music on the road a lot, and after switching to LTE, I've been using too much data recently. Is there a way for me to deliberately switch between data capabilities?
Yes. It is possible. I know you are able to just go into the iMessage settings and change it, but I'm not sure because, I forgot.
1) Settings
2) Cellular
3) Switch off "Enable LTE"
Your phone wil know revert back to 3G.
- What is the difference between Wi-Fi, LTE, and 4G? I have an iPhone 5. I have a strong Wi-Fi signal in my house and my phone says its connected to my Wi-Fi in the settings but at the top of the screen it either says LTE or 4G. I don't have unlimited data, so I don't want to waste it. Is LTE using more, less, or no data? And how to i get my phone to use Wi-Fi?
- What is the difference between 4G and LTE? So I got an iphone for christmas, never having one before. My dad, however, disabled the use of safari. I still have apps like youtube, facebook, and games. When I'm not connected to Wi-Fi, it says LTE at the top of my screen. I'm worried because the data plan is already a 90% and I didn't think that was going to use up our data plan, because I thought it would say "4G" at the top.Am I using my data plan on LTE? What's the difference?
- IPhone 5c has low demand, should Apple lower the price? By say, 50$? Or even 100$? And then slightly lower the 4S price to compensate. Because face it, who is going to buy the 5c at its current price unlocked? If it dropped, even by a bit, I'd gladly go for it! Opinions? And do you think apples likely to drop the price? I would-they've already shut down a production factory, what measure are they next going to take?
- Supply and demand curve (economics)? Can I make a graph where D1 and S1 are the iPhone 4s and D2 and S2 are the iPhone 5 and I can compare the two on one graph like that?
