Can my iphone be waterproof if inserted in a ziploc bag?
I'm going on holiday soon and there's going to be water wandering everywhere since its a waterpark, i wanted to know will a ziploc bag keep my iphone (5) safe if dunked under water?
Yeah. I did it yesterday with my iPhone 5. As long as you make sure the bag is zipped tightly.
I personally wouldn't want to risk it! There are specific waterproof covers you can get for your phone though. I'd be tempted to pay a bit more and get one of them for some peace of mind. The zip on a bag has only got to be dislodged a little bit and it's goodbye to your phone. Maybe get something like this?

Just looked on eBay. 2, 000+ choice of waterproof bags from $3.25.
For those sort of silly prices I would not want to risk a ziplock leaking!
If you are going to a waterpark, leave the phone at home or in the car. You are there for fun and anyone who wants to contact you can just wait. If you just have to take it, you may need an intervention.
I wouldn't trust a ziplock bag for waterproofing. Recommend checking ebay or Amazon for one that can guarantee that kind of protection.
