Can Polar strap send data to 2 devices at the same time?

I do a lot of mountain biking and would like my Strava app to collect HR data. I use a standard Polar Ant+ strap and wristwatch. Now I'd like to get the ANT+ adapter for my iPhone 5 (I know I'll need 2 adapters… ) so that Strava can also get the HR data from my chest strap. If I turn both the watch and Strava on will both get the data from the chest strat or do I need to choose one?

Most heart rate monitors only transmit so you should be able to use as many as you want.

Pretty sure the ANT+ stuff is paired like bluetooth
though that is probably only at the receivers
the straps can;t receive anything and the receivers don;t talk to other receivers

  • Will all data share across devices on iPhones with the same Apple ID? My dad recently got an iPhone 4s for his birthday and I currently have an iPhone 6. My iMessages went on to his phone without me putting on any sharing settings. I do not have iCloud or anything like that. I was wondering if any other things will go through on his phone
  • Why doesn't the iPhone 5 have a colored back and strap? Okay the new iPod touch has a colored back that comes in black, white, pink, red, yellow, and baby blue. Along with straps that match the back. I'm not going to get the iPhone 5 but, I'm just curious because it seems as if they would get more consumers if it had a colored back like the touch. Could it be to market towards kids because not much kids got the iPod touch 4 or is it to much money to produce a phone that comes out in 8 colors? (I'm getting the new iPod touch)
  • When you have Wi-Fi and cellular data on at the same time, does it use cellular data? If I keep my cellular data on and also have my iPhone connected to Wi-Fi, will it use any of my cellular data?
  • What will happen if i use Kik messenger with 2 devices at the same time? - 1 If I'm already logged into kik messenger through my iPhone, what will happen if I log into kik messenger on my iPad while still logged onto kik through my iPhone? Will it delete my previous messages on my iPhone? Will I still be able to message people back through both devices?
