Give me advise in how to loose weight?
I'm a 17 year old female I'm 5'3 and I weigh 180 pounds. I consider myself to be very fat and I have very low self esteem. I want to change that though, I just don't know how to start. What kind of food should I eat? How much calories should I be consuming? Another thing is I really want to do exercise but I'm extremely self conscious about people seeing me run. I feel like if they see me running I will get laughed at since I'm fat and will be out of breath. I really want a new life style, a healthier one. I want to be happy, I want to stop being the fat girl with the pretty face, and I want to live a long life. I'm really scared that I'll start out doing awesome and just give up like I've done every time. This time I really want to stick with it my whole life, I just don't know where to start. I really need help. Can you guys give me advise at what time should I go for a run, like what time is there less people out side. Oh and how can I run and not give up when I feel tired? What kind of excersize can I do at home. Most importantly how can I make a life style change and not give up any more? I don't know I'm just rambleing off now lol thanks in advance I really appreciate any help I can get.
I'm 17 as well. Last summer (I was 16), at the end of the school year I weighed 204 pounds and felt terrible. I quickly snapped out of it and decided to do my own diet that I'd actually follow through with and not quit like i had so many times before. Over 2 months, I avoided anything over 10 carbs, read All nutrition values, EXERCISED (bike mostly), drank ONLY water, and avoided bread, rice, pasta, and anything fried. I stayed committed and joined communities such as "Lose It" (iPhone app) for help. In those 2 months, I lost 50 pounds and am now at 154 and have kept the weight off since last August by keeping to drinking only water and watching my portions. Hope you have the best of luck!
Easiest way to get rid of weight issues involves proper drinking of water which has following rules-
1. Drink water sip by sip to ensure proper mixing of saliva. Then gulp it down. Don't finish the entire glass at once.
2. Don't drink water during meals and immediately after meals. Drink it 1.5 hours after meals.
3. Don't drink water immediately before meals. Keep a gap of 20-30 minutes.
4. Drink water immediately after you wake up. This will ensure a clean and smooth bowel movement.
Secondly, proper mastication of the food is necessary. Take small bites of food and chew each bite at least 32 times so as to ensure proper mixing of saliva.
Continue these habits for rest of your life. You will never require any doctor.
A good way to loose alot of weight quickly is by juicing it is so yummy and there's alot of recipes that you can try. It will give you more energy, better skin, etc. You also loose weight super fast. When I first started I lost a pound a day! But of course I juiced for every meal. Don't worry it is completely healthy unless you have a major health condition then ask your doctor first but other then that it's a great way to get in shape. I suggest to replace one meal with juicing then increase to more meals. Also with juicing you are able to have a juice in between meals as well. These recipes can be as simple as apples. My favorite recipe is
2 hand fulls of spinach
One banana
five strawberries
One apple
and half an orange
(Also like to add a cup of yogurt)

To start off, just eat healthier. Start with a low cal diet, with fruits, veggies, chicken, fish which is protein. Not too much red meats. Another thing, I've been going to the gym for almost a year and there are some overweight people who go but honestly, I see them as any other person who is trying to change and better their lifestyle. Never ever have I seen someone laugh at an individual who is overweight at the gym. That's not cool at all.
Do 30 minutes or powerwalking, or even better, jogging everyday. Remember fat doesn't start to burn until at least 20 minutes into cardio. Also, try to incorporate some weight training into your routine, build muscle as muscles help to burn off fat and speed metabolism
The internet, especially this website is not a good place to ask these kind of questions. I recommend, if you are serious about it, to get a nutritionist, and if you can afford it get a gym membership, if not just by some work out supplies and go on regular walks.
- When you give APPLE a defective IPHON do they give you a reconditioned one back? My IPHONE had a defect, still under warranty, so I took it to an Apple MAC store and after a few days they gave it back, supposedly repaired. Now the replaced IPHONE has a problem, different than the previous problem I'm now having a problem with the taking a photo. Do they just replace your phone with a reconditioned one they say no but?
- Is there an app thats like a weight loss aid, but instead for gaining weight? I know its weird to see a question thats the opposite of societys wishes but i have a BMI of 16.6, which a healthy one is around 18.5. I know they have iphone/android apps that help people who are trying to lose weight, which include a tracker which foods youve eaten and how much exercise youve done. I'm looking for an app thats similar, but for gaining weight I need something like that for assistance, your help is very much appreciated
