Can't hear anything on my computer (Windows 7)?

Please Read it will help me out a lot! :]

my Toshiba laptop doesn't have genuine windows 7, but that hasn't been a problem until today(i think).so when i turned on my computer today i forgot to plug in the charger, obviously i remembered when my screen turned black and i plugged it back in. I don't know if that triggered some error, but now i can't heart anything from my computer. I tried updating systems for my laptop(Toshiba updates) and still nothing. I went online and it told me to mess around with my sound settings in control panel. Still nothing. I can't hear YouTube, the log-on sound(window sound). BUT, i can hear with earphones on(the iPhone ones). Please help!

P.S and the battery icon says that i need to change my battery.

That has happened to me just get speakers or get professional help

You can try this. It might work.
I have had this to work on a lot of computers.
If you are using windows 7 Vista also, I think.
click start <> in the search box type in audio.
From the list <> click on Find and fix audio playback problems.

  • Why can't I hear anything from my computer? Neither my earbuds nor my headphones emit sound when on my computer. They both work fine in my iPhone. The computer is pretty new so I'm just wondering what settings I can adjust for it to work again.
