Can't send MMS? Iphone, AT&T GoPhone plan?

I have the ATT goPhone $50 month unlimited plan. I'm using an iPhone 4.

I can't send MMS (pictures in message to other iphones) Why is this?
In the pamphlet, it says:
Messaging (text, picture, & video) unlimited (under the $50 monthly plan, which is what I'm using)

MMS in my settings is ON. Why can't I send or receive photos?

GoPhone uses a different MMS server (cingular rather than att). Editing the MMS settings to change it to the cingular wap is a bit tricky, since you can't do it straight from settings. Only 2 solutions: to put another phone company's sim into the iphone to change the APN to make MMS work, or to jailbreak that iPhone and install an APN editor from Cydia.

I'm sure if you ask the nice folks at ATT, they could assist you as well if you don't want to do this from home.

  • Straight talk Iphone 3gs running 4.1 won't send mms pics? I have tried everything I can find, and my Iphone 3gs 32gb running 4.1 won't send mms pics. I initially tried straight talks fix, didn't work. My phone is jailbroken. I then installed tether me, and Swirlymms2, and still the phone won't send pics. Can anyone give me a fix for this?
