Can't send text to non IPhones
My boyfriend has a Samsun phone, and I have an iPhone. It's never been a problem till now my messages won't send to ANYONE that doesn't have an iPhone. He's loving the country for a whole and we will need to keep in though besides calling. What should I do I've tryied restarting the network settings, turning iMessage off and on and so on and so on. I need help!

- Why won't my iPhone 4s let me text non iPhones? I just got an iPhone 4s for my birthday a few weeks ago and it was working pretty swell then I updated it to its newest version, I think iOS 8.1, but after I updated it, it won't let me text anyone that doesn't have an iPhone. Does anyone know why? Or how I can't fix this?! I text my dad on a regular basis and it's hard too now because I have a texting app specifically for him.
- Why isn't my iPhone letting me text other phones (non iPhones)? When my phone isn't paid I noticed I could still text like usual but only if IIm connected to the Wi-Fi, for some reason now all it says it message not deliverd when I text someone without an iPhone but when I text someone with one it sends automatically.
- Why can't I send pictures to non-iphones? I have the iphone 5s and ios 7. I tried sending pictures to my friends who don't have iphones but I just get an error message. But when I send pictures to iphones using imessage, I'm able to send pictures just fine. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem?
- My MacBook Air won't send messages to non-iphones? Yes, my iCloud is on both Mac and iPhone messaging & they're the same one. My MacBook air used to let me message non-iphones, but a couple months ago it stopped letting me. It's become an issues, what do I do?
