Can the cops trace you back on magic jack?

I prank called this random person with my cousins and she said she's gonna call the cops. If I deleted the app can they still trace it back? Plus we were using an IPod not an iPhone.

Of course, anything on the internet is linked back to you. Thats true whether its anything on the intenet or anything through a celltower. It doesn't matter if you delete anything after the fact.

I have had MANY people say they are going to call the cops. It's usually just to scare you, and even if they did, the cops don't have time to track phone calls. And personally I don't think they could trace you. If you were using the magicjack app on your ipod, it's usually a number located in a different country than you anyways. They will just look where the number is located and just assume that's where you live, there not gonna start a whole investigation if it's so far away and waste of time.
