Can the Nokia Lumia 900 get android apps or iphone apps?
I was wondering if there was any possible way to get the apps from the android network or iPhone marketplace and put them onto my phone. I recently got the Lumia 900, I love the phone and everything about it is awesome, but I can't find a lot of the apps that I used to play on my old phone which was an iPhone 4. Does anyone know of a way to either download or buy apps from other market places and put them on the phone? If so please let me know. Any information is very much appreciated.
The Nokia Lumia series smartphones use the Windows Phone 7 and Windows Phone 8 operating systems. These phones have apps available from the Windows Marketplace, which is separate and different from the iTunes Store and the Play Store.
As time goes on and these phones (and the Windows 8 operating system generally) become more popular - some of the developers you love will begin to make these apps or new similar apps available for these devices.
But no, it is not possible to emulate or cross-install the same applications you had previously if they are not yet available for the Windows Phone platform.
