Can the police tap my iphone?
I recently got into some crazy mess ware police thought i was prostituting. I'm 17 and i ended up getting arrested for it (bs) but anyways i had my iphone4s confiscated unfortunately police are *** holes and didn't give me my phone back when i got released which by the way wasent even with my personals when i was in juvenile hall buh point is they finally sent me my phone in the mail and when all this was going on they assumed i was being "pimed" (which by the way i wasent a prostitute in the first place) so i'm kinda paranoid that they did some crazy stuff with my iphone 4s does anyone believe I've been tapped and if so how do i know?
Added (1). No bubbles bursted whatso ever! Lol
They don't need to do anything to your phone all they had to do was pull the signal ID code then anybody can listen to your radio transmissions.
If police were to get a warant from a judge to tap your phone you wouldn't know. They do not have to tell you. If they had probable cause that your phone was used in commision of a crime, they would have copied all text messages, pictures, call history, and the phone book from your phone to use in their investigation.
You aren't worth the time or effort of such a thing.
Hate to burst your bubble, but you aren't that important.
EDIT* On a side note sorry if I came off as rude. But minor charges like that just don't warrant that much effort by the police.
If you were arrested and they took your phone and didn't give it back to you on your way out, yes, they went through it. They have tech guys that can get into them very quickly. They probably didn't go into too much detail, just checked your text messages and looked in your contacts for known offenders. All in all the detective looking through it probably spent 10-20 minutes on it.
They won't have it "tapped" or have any form of recording device on it if that's what you're asking.
Easily. Your post is an obvious hoax.
- Why won't my tap to tweet work on the new IOS 6? I updated my iPhone and it worked just fine but I don't see the tap to tweet in the notification center, please help!
- Whenever I double-tap on the home button on my iphone, it doesn't let me close apps? Usually you just double-tap the home button, the app windows come up, and you can swipe them up to close them, right? I'm not sure what happened but nothing happens when I do this now. Also I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but imessage is kind of screwed up too, because whenever I try to type something, the text box covers up the latest text. So if you know what's going on, please tell me what I need to do to fix this, Thanks!
- Tap to Unlock without Jailbreak? I just got a new iphone 4s. I previously had my 3gs jailbroken and had the 'tap to unlock" feature. I prefer that over slide to unlock because I'm left handed and it's annoying to have to slide the opposite direction. However my 3gs had some minor glitches and bugs due to the jailbreak so I'd prefer not to jailbreak my 4s, but is there a way to get tap to unlock without jailbreaking the phone? Or even reverse the slide or something? Any help would be appreciated.
- Tap to Tweet issue on iPhone 4S? I have a Sprint iPhone 4S which isn't even a year old. It's running the latest version of iOS 6 (iOS 6.0.3) and I have issues with tap to tweet! Sometimes it works but 60% of the time it says "Can't connect to twitter… Tweet failed." Why does it say this and how can I fix it?
