Can you battle other people on Pokemon with an emulator?

My friends and I have Emu4iOS (a GBA emulator for iPhones, iPads, and iPods). We have various Pokemon games (all for GameBoy Advance, so Fire Red/Leaf Green and Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald. All are compatible with actual GBAs).Is there any way we can battle each other? Please DON'T SAY "JUST BUY A GAMEBOY ADVANCE AND PLAY IT THE Way IT WAS MEANT TO BE PLAYED" THAT IS NOT WHAT I'm ASKING

Yeah, play PokeMMO, you can battle and trade with anybody on there.

If you were using a computer, it would be possible but I don't believe the link works with phones. See if you were playing DS. ROM'S then you'd be fine. Though GBA needs a cord, and VBA doesn't allow it. It's really complicated, or just sounds so.

I have a Mac btw, so I can't use windows programs unless it works on CrossOver. Any help would be great!
  • Pokemon Emulator to Cartridge Data Transfer? I play Pokemon Emerald on my iPhone using gpSPhone Emulator and I was wondering if I can transfer that data to a real cartridge by connecting the GBA to the computer or something. It's probably unlikely but if there's a way please tell me.
