Can you drink 20 ounces of whiskey and still be sober?
This guy at my school says he can drink that much and still be sober. Hes 16 and around 170 lbs. I don't even think a grown man can drink that much and still be sober( sorry for any typos i did this on my iphone)
Have him drink the 20 oz of whiskey and then have him go for a drive. Then call the cops on him and see what happens.
Anything's possible.
No. That's the sad thing. He probably thinks he is sober and then does really stupid stuff like drive. It's one of the classic things among drunks. His BAC is likely close to.3 - that's enough to put people in a coma. Or kill. Of course it depends on how long he takes to drink it and how much he has to eat.
Pity him. He has an alcohol problem.
Drinking 20 shots back to back? No one can drink that much booze and remain standing. Forget sober. You will be lucky to be conscious and breathing after drinking that much.
Thats all but a full 750ml bottle - highly unlikely.
That's 20 shots. I'd put my money against him.
No. Sounds like he has built up a tolerance. Even if you don't feel drunk you are still intoxicated.
Just about, yeah.
No. End of.
You may be able to drink 20 oz of whiskey, but you certainly won't be 'sober' (whatever you mean by that, exactly). I have 30 yrs of regular and fairly 'generous' whiskey drinking under my belt, and I might just about manage that amount, but I would certainly be pretty legless.
I'd say your so-called-friend is a pathetic fantasist or a major BS artist, and based on this story alone I'd be quite sceptical of anything he tells you. (Has he told you his dad is Spiderman and his auntie is Angelina Jolie?)
- Why isn't Tool- sober on iTunes? I can't even find their Undertow album in stores… I have an iPhone and i don't know of any free music sites or apps either. Any suggestions?
- What was the last thing you bought other than food or drink? I'm trying to understand what people buy other than food and drink as what I see on the news all the time that no one has money but someone mush be buying something? Well the last thing I bought was a phone changer as the iphone 5 chargers always break.
- My husband was driving for Uber 2 weeks ago and some drink guy left his Iphone 6 in the car? They've tried to contact him several times… Can't get owner info from Siri. Now what? Is it toast? Can we use it? Sell it? We're not thieves but we're hitting our limit here.
- If you delete a call log from iphone, can you still find the record of calls and facetimes from your service provider (tmobile)? Facetime is something for only apple devices, but would your service provider still have your facetime calls in their logs? And what about regular phone calls? If so, is there a way to request they are deleted?
