Can you leave IPhones, IPads plugged in if there's a storm?

My IPhone and IPad need to be charged but there's a storm:/ I have school tomorrow and there my alarms, I need three alarms right next to my head or I won't wake up I'm a heavy heavy sleeper (I have slept threw fire alarms going off in my room) anyways if the power goes off will anything bad happened to them? I just got my IPhone 4S in white and I'm really happy about that so I don't want the storm to ruin it and my Ipad and my other iPhone have alot of awsome pictures that I can't replace <3 would it wipe the memorie? Stop it from charging like make it dead? Brake it? Need answers As soon as possible I want to go to bed I'm tired lol

Unless you live in a house built more than 40 years ago the wiring is up to date and protected against surges and such, so you'll be fine. Unless lightning hits your house, but then that's a whole host of other issues and highly unlikely.

  • Why do some people like to act like iPhones and iPads are status symbols? If it were, I mean you'd have the whole lifestyle to keep up. But a lot of people buy them. I'll admit they're both convenient but I find it a little weird to think anything of owning one. (This is in general, and not directed towards how people act to me - just my observation).
  • Why are the harddrives on iphones and ipads so small? The maximum Harddrive space on the latest iphone is only 64gb? Why is that? With all the apps, songs and films you can download the maximum space apple gives you is 64gb? Why? Its nowhere near as much as a laptop and cast your mind back to the ipod classic you could get a 160GB harddrive on them. Does anyone know why apple went backwards?
  • More you use an app the more space it takes up on iPhones and iPads? I have an iPad and new iPhone 5 that I just got. I have rhapsody on both the same app and amount of music basically (iPad as seven more songs on app) but on the iPad the rhapsody app takes up 2.8 GB and the iPhone takes up 1.8GB. Why is that? The more use the app the more space it takes up even if you're not adding new content?
