Send text using data only through an app? (including to people who don't have the same app)?
Ok so I want to buy a new phone but just want to buy a data only plan, so am I able to send and receive texts using data?
By this I mean I send a text and it shows up in their messages as if I texted them normally. For example, I'm using an app to send texts and I send a text to a friend with an iphone who doesn't have the app and he replies back and I get it in the app.

Sounds like you want a simple texting app, I use Handcent sms.
- Why can't I send picture messages to people who don't have iphones? I have an iPhone 4 and whenever I try to send pics to ppl who don't have an iphone, it fails. I have data on, 3G on SMS on and MMS messaging on and they still don't send. The pictures are also not in HDR when I take them. Is it because some people who I'm sending them to don't have smartphones? I have everything on that's supposed to be on so I don't understand why they won't send.

- I can't send photos to people that don't have iPhones? Recently I exchanged this iPhone for some reason, and got a new one. I recently I noticed I couldn't send photos to people that don't have iPhones. I'm with AT&T & I'm on the go phone plan, & before my mom used to show up 4G now it doesn't say anything.
- How to play music through two separate speaker systems through an iphone at the same time? My brother is having a party, and one speaker system needs to be at one end of the house, and the other system at the other end. How can I play music from the one iphone onto the two systems at the same time?
