Can you signup for fastpass+ on the iphone app?
Will you be able to use the Disney app to sign up for fastpass+ times?
Added (1). I also think this may help the overall experience. The old fastpass system had some abuses that I think ended up making the lines longer for everyone. In particular, back when they did not enforce the end times on the passes, people would be j@rks and save them up for the afternoon and them use them all. I have high hopes for the new system.
As long as you have a mydisneyexperience account yes you can select/maintain/change your FP+ selections on the mydisneyexperience app.
