Can you switch from an at&t iphone to verizon?
I recently lost my iphone 4 and my friend said that she'll give me her old iphone 4 but its at&t and i have verizon. Her mom said that you are able to switch them from one compant to the other. Is that ture? It would be switching the iphone 4 to verizon from at&t? Possible?
If the iPhone has a SIM card slot, take out the AT&T card and get a Verizon one and put it in. I don't know if iPhones have SIM card slots, but my iPad does. You might need to look up where the SIM card slot is.
Whatever the first poster said, it's incorrect. The iPhone 4 GSM is not compatible on a CDMA network nor is it vice versa. The 4S may be doable but not the 4.
AT&T and T-Mobile are GSM providers. Verizon and Sprint are CDMA providers. GSM and CDMA are not compatable with each other.
You can't use a AT&T phone on the Verizon network.
