Can you switch from Iphone to Jitterbug plus?
Ok, my grandmother went to get her a new cell phone the other day. The employees at the Verizon store upgraded her phone from a simple flip up phone to an Iphone… I can't believe they would give her an iphone. She can't answer calls because she doesn't understand about these new touch screen phones. I have spent all day trying to teach her, but we haven't gotten anywhere. I was wondering if she could switch from her iphone to the Jitterbug Plus. I really like that cell phone. It is very simple and would be easy for her. How long would it take to switch over, and would she have to switch plans?
I'm pretty sure the jitterbug is its own company. Verizon doesn't offer it. She would have to cancel with Verizon and contact jitterbug to see what would be involved in their plans.
It would take about a week or two and yes she would have to switch plans. It may take a while, but its not impossible
You need to return the Iphone with in 14 days of her buying the phone so that she is not charged for it.

I suggest you look into the Tracfone big easy. You may be able to find the big easy in a local store. I have not seen a Jitterbug sold in a store for many years.
