Can You Switch Off iPhone Smart Shuffle?
This Apple service on the iPhone/iPad/iMac - although meant to be intelligent - is a pain. In shuffle mode, the device takes tracks that you've listened to previously and assumes you want to keep listening to them, prioritising them ahead of other songs. Does anyone know how to switch this off, or if it's even possible to do so? It's driving me nuts. I know about clearing the recent plays, but this simply delays the problem coming back.
Yupp, there are these arrows that form a circle. Tap those arrows and that should fix your problem.
Go to your mobile carrier and talk with a live chat specialist and they should be able to walk you through the steps if your phone is able to switch off on the smart shuffle.
- Why won't this playlist shuffle? ON my iPhone 4S, I have a playlist of 75 tracks that will not only refuse to shuffle, but it only says that 2 tracks are on the playlist and plays just those two over and over again. When I unclick the shuffle icon, it recognizes 75 songs and plays them in order. Weird.
