Can you track iphone without icloud?
My friend lost his phone and it was icloud locked and he was wondering if icloud account is erased from that device, can he still find it?

Sort of. Punks and thieves will turn it off because they know he's looking for it. But iCloud activation lock can never be erased. Resetting the phone can't and will not do that. ICloud will be on there probably forever. Keep trying the link but somebody will call/email him one day asking about it because they've bought his old phone, got ripped off, and can't activate it.
