Can you turn off the data on an iphone?
I need a new phone. I have an lg env touch that can't hold
a charge for more than maybe 3-4 hours. I started high school and I sometimes have to walk home and I need a phone that will hold a charge. But my parents won't let me get an iphone because it is too expensive. My mom said that when I get a job I can get one. But I need one soon. The phone I have, an lg Env touch is a smartphone but we called and had the data package turned off so we don't have to pay for it. Is there a way to do this on the iphone? Please only answer if you actually know.
Yes you could call and have the data turned off on the iphone but you would still have to pay for the data every month which is not good if your not going to use it. The only way you could get an iphone and not have to pay for the data would be to buy one from somewhere other than the carrier store. But these will be off contract and probably around 600 dollars.
- Should I turn on or turn off my cellular data on my Iphone 4? I want to use as little data from my monthly plan as possible. Should I turn off my cellular data? It says it would restrict all data to WI-FI if turned off.

- IPhone lock button broken. Can turn off but how do i turn it on? The lock button at the top of my iphone is broken, but i have been using it fine as i have turned on 'Assistive Touch' and have been using the white dot that appears on screen. However, I'm worried about turning it off, and surely the white dot will disappeaer when the phone is off, and I will have no way of turning it on? Am I correct in thinking this?
- If you turn off cellular data on an iphone, does it still charge you? On an iPhone, you can turn off the cellular data. Under Settings; General; Network it gives you the option to turn off all cellular data. If you do that, does it still charge you monthly for data?
