Can you use infrared headphones with an iPhone 4?

I just bought some ir headphones and I'm wondering if I can use it for my iPhone 4. And if I can how?

Iphone and Ipod do not implement infrared technology so you will not be able to connect your headphones directly to your iphone, however if you have an infrared transmitter that often comes with infrared headphones then that just connects to the iphone with the 3.5mm aux cable. If you don't have a transmitter you could probably find one online.

  • My normal headphones won't work after using Bluetooth headphones? (iPhone 7)? I've been using AirPods for a couple months now and the battery is getting pretty bad so I decided to get some plug-in Apple headphones but those don't work. When I plug them in I get a "not supported" notification. I've also tried friends headphones that worked fine on there phone, so I know it's not just faulty wires.
  • Is there a super powerful infrared flashlight for consumers? I'm in 7th grade and I love playing manhunt, especially when I have an upper hand. I want to try to get an ultraviolet flashlight to use with my iPhone camera to basically get night vision. My price range is 25-50 dollars preferably.
