Can you use iPhone 5 firmware on an iPhone 5S?
I was wondering if you could use iPhone 5 firmware on an iPhone 5S, since they are basically the same thing just one has Siri. Can somebody please answer this, because it's really bothering me.
Uh, both the 5 & 5s have Siri, as well as the 4s & 5c.
To answer, no you can't.
Yes, they both can run the same iOS but you can't install the same firmware on both as there are few differences in both in terms oh hardware. Also Apple signature server won't let you install the single firmware on both devices.
You can't use a firmware file that was meant for a different device.
