If battery dead then it won't alarm, if you turn off by yourself has got enough power,
then it can work
Define "turned off"… If you have totally shut your phone down then no. If you've just put your phone to sleep by pressing the power button the alarm will still work.
No, if your alarm is on the iPhone it will not work.
On mute? Yes. Battery dead and no power? No. Best luck.

I'm normally a very heavy sleeper and I have to get up super early in the morning which makes me even more sleepy. I want to see if it will work for school or if my 4 normal alarms will wake me up.

Will an alarm still set off on an iPhone even if you are in "Do Not Disturb Mode" I never turn on the Do not disturb mode so i'm not sure if the phone stops ringing for everything or if an alarm will still go off. Cause blackberrys alarms will go off even of your in silent mode but this is my first iPhone so I have no close. My model is the iPhone 5 with all my updates! P.S- anything else about "Do Not Disturb" mode that I should know?
