Can't send pictures from t-mobile iphone 4?

I have an iphone 4 its unlocked and its connected to tmobile.
ok so today i tried to send a pic to a friend and it didn't want to sent i don't know why
i called a reprasentative and we configured the mms settings and stuff and it didn't work
does anyone know the reason why edge won't show up for me?/
even if i switch on edge it E at the top won't show

1. Make sure data roaming is turned on
2.double check your internet settings

make sure they are exactly as on this page otherwise mms will not work

1, tap setting
2.tap general
3.tap cellular
4. Make sure cellular data is on and data roaming is on
5.scroll down and tap cellular data network
6.in cellular data in the APN field type internet
7.in mms on the APN field type internet
8.hit home button to save changes and that should take care of it.worked for me. Hope this helps.

oh and make sure your 3g is off that is probably why edge isn't working.

I can't send pictures during text messages and I can't receive them. If someone sends me a picture I don't get it, it's just blank.
