CDMA Settings for iPhone 4S?
I was looking through my settings on my Verizon iPhone 4S and found one called "International CDMA" I don't quite know what it is and everything I've found on google doesn't explain it directly. I only use my phone in the US and barely even leave the state. Should I turn this setting off or leave it on? Could I save battery if I turn it off?
CDMA is a system that some cell phone providers use. Verizon uses GSM. You can ignore those settings as long as you stay with Verizon. It may make a slight difference in battery life, but I doubt it.
A good rule of thumb is turn off things you don't use, like bluetooth, location service, Wi-Fi… You can always turn on when you want to use it. Thats what I do and my battery life has always been really good.
- Will the iPhone 4S digitizer fit an iPhone 4 CDMA? I made a bit of a mistake after I was given a broken iPhone 4 CDMA and I purchased an iPhone 4S digitizer. Can I modify the 4S digitizer to work properly in my iphone 4 CDMA? I've heard that the ribbons are exactly the same from several different sources. Can you link me with something that says otherwise?
- What settings will it change if I press reset all settings on my iPhone? Also, will this help speed up my iPhone because that's what I've heard. Because my iPhone has been so slow lately and taking like 3-5 minutes to send 1 text. If you know of any other ways that could help speed that up please also let me know that.
