Changing a 3 sim from Micro to Nano?
I have the HTC One X that was bought unlocked, so I could go on any network that offered the best deal. I decided to go with 3; £12.50 a month on a rolling 30 day deal. My One X takes Micro Sim cards, though I'm hoping to swap my phone soon to the new iPhone 5S. I've heard that iPhone's take Nano SIM cards.
Can I order a free Nano Sim from 3? And will they let me carry my contract over to the 5S on the Nano Sim? Or does it mean that I will have to pay extra or something like that?
Your contract is only a 30 day rolling one so you will need to give a notice of 30 days and then you will be changed over to a new contract on a nano sim, they will give you the sim but the cost may change depending on the deals they currently have available for the nano sim.
Some providers charge more for a nano sim deal but others don't, it should state on their website what they offer with each sim and for how much.
Ring 3network they will simply send you a new nano sim with all the same contract account and same mobile number on it. And they just deactivate your current sim.call them on 0843 373 3333 from a home phone or 333 from your mobile.
