Cheap bluetooth jvc unit
I got this cheap bluetooth jvc unit. It works decent enough but it has annoying little issues. For one it takes like 30 seconds for the bluetooth itself to start it and connect to my phone automatically which is pretty annoying but whatever. Then it won't autoplay my music from my iphone 5.It doesn't even have a play button. All it has is a next/previous song button and a middle mute button. Then some other menu buttons and what not. Is there anything I can do or should I just invest in a new head unit?
Well without knowing the model # i can't give you any good answers on how to maybe get it to work better.
And for one i have not been to happy with JVC, because the 2 JVC's i have owned have gone bad 2 years after i had them aka the faceplates seem to lose a connection between them and the deck itself.
One deck i would suggest which i've had this brand for 7 years now is Alpine.

Do you have a model number by chance? The Bluetooth music stream support might not be compatible with your iPhone 5 if its a simple Bluetooth head unit from JVC. And I don't think JVC has a head unit that has Bluetooth compatibly to the iPhone 5. I do know pioneer alpine and Kenwood have some models that are compatible with iPhone 5s
- Why won't my iphone 4 hook up to my jvc kw-nx 7000? I have an in dash JVC kw-nx 7000 head unit… It hooks up to my usb flash drive and ipod touch plays from that but for some reason it will NOT hook up to my iphone 4… I do not like playing music from a flash drive because it takes too long to load and the quality isn't too great but i can deal with it so will someone please help me figure out what i need or what is going on… Thanks!
- Syncing IPhone 4S Bluetooth with 2006 Prius Bluetooth? I just purchased an IPhone 4S and it will not sync with the bluetooth on my 2006 Prius. I have been to my Toyota Dealer who sent me back to Verizon store who said reinstall software on phone, which I did No luck. Any suggestions?
- Sending iphone data wireless to a car head unit? My car pioneer head unit plays my music and displays artwork from my iphone but i have to connect it by a USB lead into the front of the unit, is there a Wi-Fi USB dongle i can use to send the music by Wi-Fi to the head unit or a sender and receiver i can use instead of a USB lead?
- Rear USB connection for Head unit? Jvc kw-r400 is the head unit. I really like this head unit, but I don't know if it has a rear USB. Basically, I want to run a usb cable for iPhone to the rear of a head unit through my dashboard. I have it all worked out, but I need to know of this particular model has a rear USB connection and I can't find any customer reviews anywhere about it. Also, if this doesn't have a rear USB, can anyone point me in the direction of a Double DIN head unit that DOES have one.
