Connecting to Xbox Live via iPhone 4S Hotspot issue?
Yesterday I renewed my Xbox live subscription and did so by using the personal hotspot option on my iPhone 4S. It all worked perfectly fine and I was on live for the rest of the evening.
Today, however, it wil not work. I can connect to the iPhone but the error occurs between the network and internet. Microsoft are saying it is something to do with the DNS? How do I address this issue!
IPhones hotspots weren't exactly made for that purpose. The DNS on it should be under your hotspot login. Here's the easiest way get another iPhone/iPod and go to Wi-Fi have it connect to your hotspot and click on it so it brings up the ip and all tht. The DNS should have two codes. Go to test connection an type in the two dns codes or just one. It depends. If you can't do that then you'll just have to mess around with the hotspot screen

- Iphone is not connecting to certain apps via Wi-Fi? My old iphone 4s ios8 would not connect to safari, skype, and the app store when using Wi-Fi, but other family members could. Now, my iphone 6s is having the same problem with skype and the app store but not safari. However, on both phones, using cellular data would allow me to connect. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix?
