Contacts lost in iPhone after reset

I had four years worth the contacts on my iPhone and I decided to reset y phone not knowing that it would delete all my contacts. Does that mean it deleted my whole SIM card? Can I get my contacts back if I bring to the AT&T store, is there some way they can do it?

Hm, have you got iCloud? Before you had swiped your phone? If so, you can back your contacts up with that because iCloud saves all lost things etc, I'm unsure if the store will help you for legal reasons such as if it wasn't your SIM card., have you used iTunes on your PCM/computer? Because that also saves everything on there too

What part of "RESET" don't you understand? Also, since when does Australia have AT&T?

The Whole Contacts:
if you had an Email on your iphone and that was paired contacts you can will be find that if you add your old Email. (when you bought Your iphone from store and turn that on, you should insert an email address on it, so remember what was your email address you inserted on your iphone last years)
or if you had a backup from your data you can find them with restoring with itunes.
---
the SIM contacts:
if your iphone is jailbroken you can download the SIM manager from cydia and backup your contact like Import or Export them.
or
insert your SIM to an other phone (you can insert that in whole phones, not matter Smartphone) and import your contacts there( on other phone).
---
if your SIM contacts was deleted you can buy a SIMcard reader from AMAZON.COM or… And Recovery your Contacts.
Hope Helpful.

There are some things you can try. You can see if you have an itunes or icloud backup. You can also see if AT&T can recover them from the SIM but that requires you going to a physical store.
