Converting document music to iPhone music?

Okay, I have a bunch of music saved on my local disk my files on my computer, but I don't know how to get them onto my iPhone.

IPhone supports MP3, MP2, M4A, WAV,
You could use one audio converter or video converter, convert to the format iPhone supported.
I'm using 4Free Video Converter

Connect phone, load itunes, click and hold on folder you want copied then drag into itunes and drop:-)… There's a certain spot to drop it… But i forgot… It's been like 5 years or so ;-) ps cute chick on your desktop, you have good taste ;-)

I have windows, if you are using an apple computer it should be easier.

You need to download the latest version of iTunes from Apple.com site
Http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

After installing iTunes, you need the iTunes to connect with the songs that is on your PC. There should be a button to import media to iTunes (Scan For Media),
Or you can drag the MP3 files and drop it on the iTunes program -I actually prefer that way, its faster and easier.

I also prefer creating a playlist first before sending it to the iphone, click on the playlist tab.create a New Playlist (from the Plus button at the bottom left). Put a name to the playlist, for example "Kool", and start to drag the songs to the playlist (from left to right, unless apple change that arrangement later). Press done to exit.

you need to synchronize the iTunes with the iphone by connecting the iphone to the PC with a USB cable.
you can connect the iphone with Wi-Fi without cables, but you need to connect the iphone with the power supply first (iphone charger), connect the iphone with the Wi-Fi and make sure there's no heavy traffic on the Wi-Fi internet. Like opening a YouTube video at the same time.

If you can't access the iphone via Wi-Fi, connect it by the usual way by USB cable.

In the iTunes program, there should be a button with a picture of iphone at the right upper corner (if it is not there, the Wi-Fi method may not be working, so use the USB cable).
click on it, you will go to the synchronization options with many tabs like music, video, app etc.
.
The iTunes may ask you to log on first, if it the first time you use iTunes. Do it.
It may ask you to log on using your apple ID or create a new one.
you should log in with your apple ID, the one you used to download apps from the app store.

at some point, if you used two apple ID to purchase and to download apps on the same iphone device, you maybe asked for both ID and their passwords several times. And you may be denied access if you keyed in the wrong password.

At each tab: music, video, app etc.read carefully the options that is available for you AT EACH TAB before hitting the "Sync" button (at the bottom or the top of the iTunes).
for example synchronizing the apps will remove any Jailbreak software on the iphone, so tick it off if you have jailbreak software.but
if you never jailbreak the iphone, it is advisable to synch the apps as well.

Go to the music tab. And tick on Sync music. It will give the option to sync all music and playlist, or select certain files and playlists.
that's why I prefer to create playlist firsthand. Because I do not want all the songs that is on my computer, I just need the "kool" songs.

The next step is to press on the "sync" button to start transferring the files to the iphone device (usually at the top or at the bottom of the iTunes, can't remember).
it may take few minutes, especially if this is the first time you do this.

There are other alternatives to iTunes.one way is to download an app on the iphone from the app store. It is called 'iFileExplorer", it basically allow you to transfer MP3 by Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, using your browser (explorer, Firefox, chrome, safari opera etc) to your iphone.

There are many similar software to ifileexplorer, but they share the same idea, it provide an access number (URI to be more specific) that you would type it as the address on your browser.
The limit is, you can only play the MP3 player using that software, (iFileExplorer).

There are also desktop software that can transfer your files directly into the iphone without the iTunes, but they are usually NOT free.
example 'iExplorer" for Windows.

It is for those control-freaks (like me) who want to access more from their iOS devices, but they do not bypass the.apple ID and you still need to keyin the apple ID and password.

All the best.
