Coworker went through my phone?
I worked yesterday and today I was on my laptop and I opened the messages app (if you don't know, if you have an iPhone and a MacBook you can connect your messages so they go to both places). I saw my managers name (who worked yesterday) in recent messages and it said "1 image sent." Thought this was weird and clicked it. I found a picture of my boyfriend smiling and me topless taken a few weeks ago(I knew about this pic). I slammed my laptop shut, horrified, and I went to my PHONE messages to see if I had somehow accidentally sent this pic last night, but the text thread I had with that manager was completely deleted. Btw I never delete texts. I went back to laptop and checked when photo was sent to him. 1:40 pm. At 1:40 pm I was at work, my phone in the break room where my manager had been sitting most of the day, where all of the workers leave their phones every time we work. My married, 40 y/o manager saw my phone, looked through my pictures and who knows what else, found a picture of me topless, sent it to himself and deleted the thread. I only found it because of message sharing to my MacBook. I feel sick. Is this my fault for not having a lock and having that pic in my phone? I was underage until about 2 mo. Ago, so this man has mostly known me as a minor. I'm disgusted with him and myself. I love working here & I've been here 2 yrs but this changes everything. I'm angry, hurt, grossed out, and upset. I think I want to quit or at least tell the manager above him.
I would go to your HR department

Do you have an HR department? Go to them and tell them everything that happened. This is a really nasty thing that can turn into a legal mess for the company. Any manager that does this is a bottom feeder.
If you have a manager ABOVE this other manager, I'd also ask to speak with him/her as well and bring them in on this.
It is a legal issue and you should not ignore it, wait too long, or anything. Move forward and get that meeting tomorrow.
At minimum, go directly to your HR department.
Your manager's manager will probably try to make this go away quietly. There may be an attempt at retribution.
Be prepared to go to the police. When you talk to HR, make sure that they know that you're thinking about going to the police.
You certainly put yourself at risk, but that doesn't make it your fault anymore than any other victim.
You can report it to the police or to his boss, but unless he confessed there's no way to prove it was him. He can just say it must have been someone else that sent the picture as a joke, and you can't prove any different. Maybe you can raise enough fuss that they offer you a few months pay as a severance package.
Lock your phone.
- What should I do with my iphone after it went through a 15 minute washing cycle? I don't know if this matters but my phone was cracked before it went through the wash and now it has a tiny chip in it. There was also detergent and fabric sofenter.
- Saving a iPhone that went through the washer? I stupidly put my iPhone 4 in the washer for about 10 min. I have it in a bag of rice right now. But out of pure shock i tried to turn it on a few times and it didn't work, Have i ruined my chances? What should i do?
- My iPhone went through the washer? Last month my iPhone 4s went through the washer and just turned on and it says it's on 100 percent but when I take it off it turns completely off. And it says connect to iTunes… Can this new fixed?
- My iphone screen went black, but the phone is still working? I was using my phone all day long and it was working perfectly. Then all of a sudden the screen went black and I thought the screen just dimmed down, so I hit the lock button but it stayed that way. Every once in a while it would light up for like one second when i got a text, but then go black again. My sound still works and everything just the screen is black. What can i do?
