Added (1). I got it out quickly, dried it off and tried sticking it in rice. It won't turn on, so I'm assuming it's completely gone. But if anyone has any thing I can still try, I'm willing to try them out.
Be more careful with the replacement.
Don't power it on the biggest mistake you can make is to try and power on an iPhone after its been exposed to water, let it COMPLETELY dry if can stick in some rice that would great
This process may take a few days if you see any sign of moisture give it more time.
- My iPhone SE went for a swim with me - Any hope? So right now I'm in Outer Banks (beautiful area, my family rented a house with a pool and a short walk to the beach) and I went for a 5ish minute swim in the pool. Then my mom called me in to have lunch, and that s when I realized I f ed up. My family is big, so I had a bunch of suggestions being thrown at me at once, a bunch of them being the bag or rice. We don't have rice at the house, and nobody s gone food shopping yet. Is my phone a lost cause? Any advice would be a great help.

So last night I got a iPhone 5s and I switch from an iPhone 4 I plug my iPhone for into iTunes said I had to restore it factory settings I did it thinking my data was going to be backed up when I restored my iPhone 4 had lost all it's data including pictures, text and apps and I was wondering id there anyway I could get that back on my iPhone 5s? - I dropped my Iphone 5, cracked the screen and now part of the screen won't work? I dropped my iphone 5 and cracked the screen. Then somebody spilt a bit of drink on it and now part of the screen won't work. I can't use the letters I anddm because the screen won't work in that spot. What do I need to get fixed to fix both of these issues? If i get the screen replaced will it fix where the screen doesn't work? =Roughly how much will this cost in Australia to get fixed?
