Cracked iPhone won't turn on? - 1

I cracked my iPhone 4 about 2 months ago (it has no warranty). About 10 mins ago, I dropped my cell 3 inches off the ground onto a hard wood floor, & it turned off & won't turn back on. My cell has done this for days before, and i have already tried everything that has worked before (pushing the on button, pushing the on & home button together for up to 30 seconds, plugging it into the wall, & plugging it into both my laptop & my home computer).
My computer doesn't even seem to know that my iPhone was plugged in. Any ideas on how to make it turn on again? MY parents won't take my to get my iPhone fixed, because they think i'm irresponsible (i got a C+ on a chemistry test, so they told me that they won't help me when it comes to my cell anymore).

I have recently dropped my iPhone 8, and the whole screen and back side of the phone was completely cracked, I'm in distraught as the phone is now cracked very badly and won't turn on.
