Cydia won't open on my iPhone, but Safari and Mail work just fine?

Hi, I recently tried to jailbreak my iPhone 4 running iOS 6.1 using redsn0w. Unfortunately, I did not know redsn0w was not compatible with this iOS until afterwards. After I uploaded my ipsw and proceeded to try and jailbreak it, it tethered jailbroke my iPhone. Now, I have the cydia icon on my springboard, and it won't open, BUT the Safari and Mail work just fine. I've never seen this before in all of my time jailbreaking. I tried to just boot it, but it when it gets to the stage where redsn0w says "waiting for reboot", my iPhone will never reboot. I don't want to wipe and restore and update my iPhone off of iOS 6 to 7 via iTunes, because i like iOS 6. So I tried to press the option key and restore off of an uploaded ipsw, but I keep getting the error message "This device isn't eligible for the requested build." I then tried to fix THAT by editing my hosts file, but to no avail!

  • Why won't my iPhone earbuds work on my iPhone but work fine on a computer? So I have the worst luck with earbuds and it happens to be reoccurring. I have a normal iPhone 5 and I enjoy music but when I listen to my songs only one earbud will work while the other one is dead. I can go on my computer and they will both work so I was wondering why they both won't work on my phone?
  • Safari and calendar won't open on my iPhone 4? So i try to open my safari and it'll try to open but eventually end up crashing as well as my calendar. I've tried resetting my settings and hasn't helped at all.
  • On my iPhone, my mail, calendar, safari, and maps won't open Hey… So I tried jailbreaking my phone and it didn't work. Anyways, after I stoped trying to jailbreak it, I realized that some of the apps that you can't delete (Mail, Calendar, Safari, and Maps) won't open! They just keep crashing! I really would like these apps to work again so I can use them while I'm on the go. I already tired the dumb little things like turning my phone off and then back on… But it doesn't seem to work!
  • My old iPhone 5c won't turn on even though it was working fine a month ago and has just been in a drawer since. How can I get it working? I upgraded my iPhone a month ago and have been experiencing problems so I need to get it fixed. It will be weeks until I get it back so I decided I d use my old iPhone 5c until then. But I can't turn it on, it was working fine last time I used it a mo th ago. I tried charging for hours and hours and holding sleep and home buttons etc and it still won't come on. My charger is fine. How can I turn it on?
