Daily data usage apps for iphone?

Hi, my son is going to Holland for 5 days this week, he likes to use his phone to go on Facebook however we're worried about him using all his credit on checking this, we're going to get him a roaming package but you only get 10mb of usage, I have seen you can get free apps where the internet will turn off when he reaches this, but I was wondering if anyone knows of an app I can put on his phone so that I can spread the data out so the internet cuts of everyday after he uses 2mb that way the 10mb will be enough to last him.

10mb is nothing. He can barely check facebook with that once depending on how much he loads. Tell him to use Wi-Fi at hotels, restaurants etc.

When I travel I turn data and roaming and gps off because the cost is outrageous when out of the country. That allows me to only use the internet through Wi-Fi and most hotels have Wi-Fi.

So tell your son to use Wi-Fi when using his phone for things like Facebook otherwise he will blow through that limit in no time.

When my husband and I went to Zurich he forgot to turn the gps on his phone off and that alone in one week cost an additional $500 on the phone bill.

He should only use the phone internet access when Wi-Fi is not available.
