Data usage going up iPhone 4S?
So the problem is the last 2 months my data keeps going up and 2 months before that for a whole month I would use up to 450 to 500 mb a month in all my 3, 072 mb permitted. I watch indian Shows in my phone listen to music, use the web, look on my email and when a document comes on my email I download and read it. This also just adds up to 450 mb every month. But all of a sudden on march 24 I notice in 6 days I used up 400 mb since my 3, 072 data plan starts over ever 20 of the month. And by April 20 I used up 2, 756. And when it started over again by today I have used up to 446.96 data. Even when I'm on the Wi-Fi zone it goes up. Then I noticed my Bluetooth is on when 3 months ago it was not on. I think I accidentally turned it on when I was fixing my Wi-Fi mode. Did the Bluetooth make my data go up and if not why is it going up please help.
Watching video takes alot, use Wi-Fi in that case.
- Unknown data usage on iPhone 4S? My family and I all have smartphones (all iPhones except one) and on our phone bill, it says that we're already at 6.7 GB, in 15 days… Looking further into it, I noticed that on each phone, data was being used every hour. Like anywhere between 1 and 19, 000 KB being used exactly every hour. Like 3 KB at 1:49, 15 KB at 2:49, 7 KB at 3:49 in the morning. KB's aren't a lot, but when you have 6 devices using KB's every hour, it really adds up.
- Under settings on my iPhone, does the data usage include Wi-Fi usage? Because its stating a ridiculous amount and I've had my data off… And my Wi-Fi on. Does the total of data include the amount of Internet I'm using when on Wi-Fi? I'm so confused
- My data usage seems to be going up very fast? In just 3 days i used 40mb of data just by sending imsg and browsing the web a couple times. I didn't watch any videos. Is that usually normal? I have 600mb of data on my plan and I'm new. I use a Iphone 4s. How much is daily usage by just using imsg and checking facebook daily?
- IPhone: settings cell usage vs AT&T's data usage number? AT&T has a number, by calling it will send you a text message telling you how much usage you have used on your data. But also in the iPhone there's a cellular usage count in the settings app which also tells how much data you have used. Both of my cellular usage counts are different. Which is right?
