Decent alternatives to Sony xperia sp?

I'm looking at changing my windows phone to an android phone, I was thinking of getting a Sony xperia sp until I read about the terrible Wi-Fi connection this phone suffers from, any suggestions as to any other phones with similar specs and similar price range I could get? No iPhones or Samsung s4 suggestions as they are too expensive.

Nokia Lumia 520

Huawei Ascend Y300

HT Desire C

  • Would you buy the new Sony Xperia Z over iphone 5? Http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/products/phones/xperia-z/ This is sony's answer to iphone 5 and Galaxy S3 but is it good enough?
  • Which is Better Sony Xperia Z or iPhone 5? I want to buy a new phone, but I'm confused. Xperia Z has quad core, android JB, 2 GB ram, Full HD display and 13MP camera. Iphone 5 has dual core, ios6, 1GB ram, decent display and 8MP camera. i heard that Xperia z screen and the camera quality is not good. And iPhone 5, i'm new to ios, previously i was an android user, and pretty much i know how the OS is. But ios, i don't have an idea. Please suggest me a good phone and tell me why it's good than the other
  • What's the better option: Nokia Lumia 800 or Sony Xperia U? Features obviously. is the xperia U screen the same size as the iphone 4? Is it good in hands when using it, applications are pretty amazing right compared to windows and iphone correct? Because the XU is an android no?
  • Sony Xperia you won't connect to home Wi-Fi but connects to everything else? My brother just got his sony xperia you and it won't connect to our home Wi-Fi. My iPhone 4s, my sister's iPhone 4 and my dad's HTC desire all can connect to our home password protected Wi-Fi. However, my brother's sony xperia says connected with limited connectivity. We went to the local mcdonals and my cousins house and all those connections work. What is wrong with our home Wi-Fi?
