Did I blow my iPhone 5 battery by charging it with an iPad charger block?

A few days ago I forgot my phone charger block while on a two day vacation and my friend let me use the bigger block that came with her iPad. It charged my phone just fine for a night until I bought a new block. It charged fine overnight with the new regular block I bought, but now I'm home and it won't charge at all. Like I'll have it sit on the charger and in fifteen minutes it will go from 33% to 34%, then fifteen minutes after that it will go back down to 29%. I don't understand and I think I messed up the battery when I charged it with the bigger iPad charger? It will also just turn off and say I need to charge it when I know the battery is not anywhere near dead and then when I put it on the charger it turns on immediately(unlike taking 5 minutes as if it was ACTUALLY dead) and shows the higher, non-dead percentage. I'm so frustrated by this, please share if you have any insight…

Also, do you think this will be covered by warranty?

Nope, they use exactly the same technology. Either you plugged it in too harshly and damaged the socket or it's a glitch. Not sure about you guys in the US, but here in the UK all apple stores have a 'Genius Bar' at the back where about 10 technicians solve peoples technical problems. Either try that or just claim on warranty.

Not an expert but don't look good. No time to get into why I said that so if y can y will only need 1 more opion sorry and good luck.

The iPad charger has a higher power rating than the iPhone charger and can theoretically charge an iPhone more quickly. Nevertheless, Apple says that using an iPad charger on an iPhone will do no harm, so if you think it broke something, it should be covered by warranty.
